If you find an extra core to return -- you will want to re-count-- when you ADD some thing to a return in Exploris manually --Exploris will DEDUCT that item from the on hand count -- and you may not have wanted that .... re-count afterwards to ensure all settles to what you wanted.
I believe that "found" cores do not affect inventory. However I do know that "found" defects will reduce the OH QTY by the number found. If a part has a Order Point of 0 and a defect is found the OH will go to -1 and a unit will be ordered.
