"Permatex products have an estimated shelf life of 2 years. There is a laser inked numeric code on the package. ie. 6LK1801B. We only care about the first 2 digits. The first digit is the year and the second is the month of manufacture. In this example it would be December (L is the 12th letter of the alphabet) of 2006. So this product is expired.
Please check your shelf for old product and send it back to the DC.

ReplyDeleteThe product that I purchased has the numbers 5 5 1087. If this is correct with only 2 years shelf life, that indicates that this product is no good?
