Morco --- errors and foul up's on shipping ?

Ken N wants this to me better know --= he is having a LOT of errors in special order shipping from Morco. PLEASE make a note of this fellow -- Mat Betrim -- Sales Manager at Morco -- ask for him on trying to figure out why you HAD a problem - 800-276-7827 ( order desk )

Mat will have a change -- they will INSIST that THEY do a stock check on every item special ordered by all CQ jobbers ( they do this now with Elsa & Linda on orders they call in

Mat will ask for a list of stores and contact names so when they do have a problem -they know who to call at that store ( this is on Doug McIntosh voice mail )

Mat will see if any request that comes in TOO LATE to be shipped Purolator - will try to go Cardinal ( for our stores ) -- so HINT -- do NOT request Purolator

Mat will watch --and should we get more orders --we can ask Rob Scott on possibility for cross dock shipping ( ps - note - that adds one day to order )

PLEASE let Ken or Greg H know if you have a problem in Morco --we want to make this better

Canadian Lawn Care

This is for Auto Barn mostly.I set Can Lawn up as account 19020 and they now have a Cq card and the # shows when you bring up the account.It will be handled the same as Great lakes.

If anyone has a customer that is using Lankar or Mitchell the "magic number" to make our list price match their's is Cost X 1.5385.This is assuming your customer is using a 35% margin (not markup)from cost to list which is what Auto Barn uses.

I just ordered a power steering pump for a Ford tractor from A&I. I didn't know that they have them available in 2 lines. Identical part #'s except the "economy" line has a dash "e" suffix. I called to ask the difference. One is North
American, the other is offshore. Also got a little inside info from the guy on the order desk. He says do NOT sell the econo line of pump for Massey Ferguson units.

Added RBR 90330 rubber static strap --A Barn had it ( no surprise - good work guys ) - added to Petes and D&T ...these are good for people who get car sick or for INDUSTRIAL applications to ground equipment ....

and a few sku's in tubing -- in many cases A Barn had most - please make room and show staff

more sizes of fuel filler hose

all stores are getting more sku's in RBR fuel filler hose --the most popular size is 1 1/2 and 2" -- note -- Auto Barn keeps some larger sizes ... like RBR 23980 in 2 1/2 -- in case you need it ...

what is InStant Fill -- ?

Gas caps like the Nascar guys use --- well -- almost ....we have added a sample of the 4 sku's for each store and set the ((( for price stickers -- idea's ?

Please note that EOM is Tuesday Oct 31st. Make sure that you run off your POS terminals that night before you leave and then don't run them off again until Saturday Nov 4th. Make sure that all invoices and mail copies are sent up on the morning of November 1st.

new sku # 5070845 is new ATF + 4 ... for Chrysler 95 & up ... it replaces QSO 29108 ( ATF +3 ) ... levels set for D&T and Petes -- A Barn was on the ball and had it already .... make the room and clear out the old

Credit Checks

Need a credit check you can use Equifax.ca.Cross Canada uses it and says it takes only a few minutes for a credit check.It cost $10.00 for a personal(we should be using Carquest card) and $45 for a business.

We have been made aware that CARQUEST has stocked many sku's that we didn't know -- Greg G is going t o post more on that.

If you has some special unit -- they have a Toronto warehouse Doug Harden 877-328-0224 ....don;t use them if you are very tight for time --the first few times will probably be very much grief --especially until CARQUEST figure out how to tell us the 1500 sku's they don't list in their computer ...:-)

Keystone price comparisons -- Thanks Auto Barn

Auto Barn is sending photo copies of the Keystone invoice and stapled price compare to the 'new' account that for the most part seems to be higher. IF other stores could also do that --"that would be a good thing" to quote Martha Stewart.

When we get 10 or so -- I will forward on to Toronto. Please concentrate on the items more than $100 if you can. Thanks --with your help we can FIX this problem and make it better for all.
