Petes found out about them - and I saw an invoice that made me ask questions. They can do new parts in 24 hours if they feel it can sell additional. They source some parts thru WorldPac. I have snet a letter to Raleigh buyer ( but this is a 3 year dance at times )

It seems that after 5 years of J-Con I discovered that a parts message is store specific. It only shows in the store that it was created.It needs to be done in each stores file using 3.18.

BL adaptor fittings

a reminder for store managers --to look at BL catalog ( a PDF copy was sent just minutes ago ) --we got this paper cat late last year and it took a LOT of calls and e-mails to finally get the adaptor nuts into the system in Toronto --but we have yet to do much with this line ... Managers -- action ??

Copper-Nickel Brake Line

CARQUEST has copper-nickel brake line ... BL NC-308 is part for 8 " from this you can se e the pattern for the rest of the line. Copper-Nickel is known for easy of bending ( see image ) ... and High performance manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Porsche, Volvo and Audi, have chosen to install copper-nickel alloy over all other materials including stainless steel brake lines.

U-Joints with grease fittings

Auto Barn has added some can use parts -- Prescision u-joints with grease fittings. They have customers who request this. We have sent this request on to Raleigh for review and hope to have grease fitting option at some point in the future

Christmas Party

I have booked the Christmas Party at the Kingsville Golf Club for this year. It will be on Saturday, December 5th. I will send out invitations in late October.

Warn Hubs -- watch part numbers

The WARN hubs that are part of sub line 11 in UJ ( And are NOT part of any e-cat option ) and on page 0-49 in the service line cat are different numbers than standard Warn hubs -- just to make sure you are confused and order from someone else ...and it is a pretty good job. To add insult to injury -the INTERCHANGE data is missing ( requested it be updated c/o Brian Wiggs )

WPC - who can set the most stocking levels ?

Will have a contest to see how can set the best combination of stocking levels for World-Pac for their store --- do not want just anything changed --looking for QUALITY and QUANTITY. WPC have just been changed to the Misc Vendor for you store (4 for D&T 8 for Petes and 5 for Auto Barn ). Items like the VW anti-freeze (#Z800388016PEN ) have been set for your store.

Will review monthly at staff meeting and award prizes at Spring staff meeting -- probably April.
